Safety

Every part of Anana is built so you know who you're meeting before you go.

If you feel unsafe at an Anana, leave and contact local emergency services first. Then tell us.

Verified members

Everyone passes an age check before they can see anything: a selfie with a liveness check, and an ID for anyone whose age looks close to the line. Couples verify both partners. A face can only be on one account, and a banned member's face can't sign up again. Profiles show "Verified 18+" after a selfie, or the age from the ID marked "Age verified".

Hosts approve every guest

Hosts see each request with the member's record and approve guests one by one. The exact address appears only after approval and is deleted after the Anana.

Meet for a drink first

A host can ask to meet guests first. For those Ananas, the address shows only after the guest and host have met in person and confirmed it with Meet in the app. Meet somewhere public first.

Met in person

When you meet, confirm it with a quick code scan in Meet. Only people who actually met can rate each other, and "Met in person" counts can't be bought. If someone doesn't match their profile, tap "Doesn't match" and confirm: their account is paused while we check.

Private by design

  • Locations show only as a distance in whole miles.
  • Private photos are blurred until tapped, hidden while the screen is recorded or shared, and the owner is told about screenshots.
  • Notifications say only "New update" unless you turn Discreet notifications off.
